Welcome to my blog! I am so happy that you are using my blog to help you improve your English.

I am adding a new link to a listening activity called "The Accident". Listen to Shibika talk about surviving a serious car accident. There is a vocabulary and comprehension exercise you can do. There are many other listening activities at this website "elllo.org". Try them and let me know what you think by posting a "comment" below in the box.

I have added this link  "Good Old Home Remedies "
so you can practise the listening activity at home. Try it and let me know how it worked.

If you would like to practise other listening activities, go to the link   Linc 3 e- Activities . There are many different topics to choose from.


I have added two new vocabulary lists to SpellingCity. You can find them by going to this link: "Cancer" and "Reducing Your Risk of Cancer".

Measles Vocabulary Words Link

I hope you all enjoyed the pictures of our Heritage Day at Mason. What a great day! Thanks again to all who helped make it a wonderful experience.

I am adding a new link to Spellingcity for our vocabulary practice activities for 'Measles'. Please left click on the link MEASLES VOCABULARY to practise your vocabulary words.

There will be a test on your vocabulary words on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. 
  • There will be 5 dictation sentences from the sentences . 
  • There will be 5 fill- in- the- blank sentences for comprehension. 
  • There will also be 5 match the vocabulary word with the definition.
  • And there will be 10 grammar sentences where you will have to choose the correct verb tense or verb form.
Good luck and make sure you go to the link to practise your vocabulary.

Mason Heritage Day 2015

What a great day! Thanks so much to all of our proud heritage student participants from the Mason Centre. Thank you to Lorna our Program Leader and to our very supportive Principal, Allan Timmins, for making this happen and for all of his wonderful contributions, especially the flags in the hallway. To all the students who participated with their displays, heritage dress, food, music, and talents, and to all the Mason staff who helped in so many ways- thanks for a job well done and for providing us with a day to remember.
